IMPORTANT NOTE: SafeNet MobilePKI for BlackBerry will not operate without the necessary licenses
from BlackBerry. It has been specially developed to operate with the BlackBerry Dynamics mobile
application platform. For information on BlackBerry licenses go to [email protected].

SafeNet MobilePKI for BlackBerry is a mobile application that provides a smart card Single Sign-On (SSO) capability to BlackBerry Dynamics™ applications. Users login once to get access to all containerized apps on the mobile device as well as behind-the-firewall enterprise resources without having to enter additional corporate credentials. When an user launches a BlackBerry Dynamics™ application, he is redirected automatically to the MobilePKI for BlackBerry application and is required to authenticate. After successful login, the user can proceed with the initial application.

MobilePKI for BlackBerry transparently addresses all the various Gemalto Secure Elements form factors thanks to its embedded IDGo 800 for Mobile cryptographic middleware: Smart cards inserted in Bluetooth Smart readers or tokens, secure MicroSD cards, NFC cards, UICC-SIM cards, etc. Based on the Good Trusted Authentication Framework (TAF), it provides the BlackBerry Dynamics® applications the highest possible security level brought by the 2 Factors-Authentication (2FA) and the PKI technology.

NOTE:
Mobile PKI for BlackBerry SHALL NOT function without authentication from BlackBerry Dynamics (BD) Framework, and that it shall ONLY work within the BD backend infrastructure framework. ONLY the Authentication password provided by the client IT department along with the users corporate email can activate and authenticate the application for use with the BD framework.

Mobile PKI for BlackBerry, which incorporates BD security features, allows access to a server based application and backend infrastructure.

Mobile PKI for BlackBerry does NOT provide in-app purchases or subscription offering. IF access to backend infrastructure is needed, the client may order or purchase access license for its users.

BlackBerry s device management allows separate access code per device, making Mobile PKI for BlackBerry supports single user ONLY over several devices. Allowing, for example, customer admin to remotely wipe the data within a BD application specific device.
